Exploration and Development Strategy
The near-term business plan of the Corporation is to continue with its asset acquisition program through a combination of exploration, property development and acquisitions. To accomplish this, Solimar Energy continues to pursue an integrated growth strategy including exploration and development drilling focused in the San Joaquin Basin, acquisitions, farmin opportunities, farmout opportunities, further land acquisitions and swaps of property interests.
Solimar Energy currently holds approximately 23,000 net (working interest) acres in the San Joaquin Basin.The Company's portfolio of assets includes nine (9) different projects, five of which Solimar Energy currently operates and is the sole or main interest holder.
Additionally, potential asset and/or corporate acquisitions will be considered to further supplement the growth strategy of the Company. It is anticipated that any future acquisitions will be financed through a combination of cash flow and additional equity and/or debt. The Company will seek out, analyze and complete asset and/or corporate acquisitions where value creation opportunities have been identified that have the potential to increase shareholder value and returns, taking into account the Company's financial position, taxability and access to debt and equity financing.
The Management of Solimar Energy has industry experience in several producing areas in addition to the Company's geographic areas of interest and has the capability to expand the scope of the Company's activities as opportunities arise.
